TRAGEDY: Police Report 2 Suicide Incidences In Taita Taveta, Nyeri
Police are investigating the deaths of two people who committed suicide in Taita Taveta and Nyeri County.

The first incidence occurred in Taita Taveta, where a 62-year-old man named Tobias Mwamburi died by suspected suicide in his home.
According to authorities, Mwamburi was discovered dangling from the rooftop along his house’s corridor.
Preliminary findings show that the deceased lived alone. Police say the body had no evident injuries.
Police at the location performed a search and discovered a suicide note in which he said goodbye to his siblings.
Officers from the Mwatete Police Station investigated the scene, and the body was transported to the Moi County Referral Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
In Mbiriri, Nyeri County, a wife reported that her husband committed suicide.
The man who authorities identified as Charles Mathenge aged 49 years died by allegedly hanging himself on a rafter with a sisal rope.
Police said the motivation is still unknown and no suicide note was recovered.
Police officials from Narumoru police inspected the area and collected evidence needed for future investigations.
Mathenge’s body was taken to Karatina Level 4 Hospital Mortuary, pending postmortem.
Police are seeking two alleged criminals who stormed a residence in a robbery and attacked a family before fleeing with a television set in Kabarnet, Baringo County.
During the November 12 night event, the group raped a 19-year-old housegirl who was present, authorities claimed.
It is said that the two armed robbers forced their way into the house through the main door.

Police say the family sustained injuries that required emergency medical attention.
Following the assault, the burglars stole a 32-inch TCL television, according to police.
After the criminals fled, officers came shortly after to process the crime scene and collect any available evidence.
The sufferer was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking to identify the suspects.
