‘Declare Your Campaign Fund Source!’ – Activist Morara Kebaso Tells Presidential Candidates
Morara Kebaso, a political activist, has challenged individuals who have indicated an interest in running for president in the 2027 general elections to identify where their campaign funds will come from.
The leader of the Injection of National Justice, Economic, and Civic Transformation (INJECT) party stated on Sunday, December 1, 2024, via his X account that those who sponsor presidential candidates will always have influence over them after they win elections.
In the spirit of honesty, Kebaso acknowledged that Kenyans are the ones funding his campaigns since he has been asking people for donations even though he has been criticized and trolled for it.
“Every presidential candidate should declare where they get their campaign money from. Those who fund you will definitely control you,” he said.
“I Morara Kebaso fund my campaigns by asking for donations from Kenyans. I have been insulted and trolled for it. But I am still here. Let the rest tell us who funds them.”
