HEARTBREAK: King Kaka, Nana Owiti Split After 13 Years Of Marriage
Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima, commonly known by his stage moniker King Kaka has announced his split from his long-term wife Nana Owiti.
On Tuesday, King Kaka announced the split on his social media X page, noting that it was not an easy decision to make.
“We honestly never thought we would one day write a statement like this but life happens. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” the statement read in part.
The rapper, who has been in a relationship with Nana Owiti for over 13 years, remarked that despite their breakup, they will be able to recall the many experiences they have had.
“Over the course of 13 years, we have shared countless memories, built a life together, and most importantly raised three incredible children who will always be our top priority,” the statement read in part.

King Kaka explained that because they are public characters in the community, their lives may draw attention.
However, they requested privacy following the daring choice to announce their breakup, stating that the decision was not taken lightly.

King Kaka claimed that even after their divorce, their primary emphasis would be co-parenting their three children with love, stability, and respect.
“Our focus remains on co-parenting our children with love, stability, and respect. They are the heart of everything we do and their happiness and well-being will always come first,” read the statement.
“We are grateful for the love and support we have received throughout our journey together and we ask for your continued kindness as we take this next step.”
“This is a joint decision made with mutual respect and we look forward to embracing the future as individuals while continuing to co-parent with the same partnership and dedication we’ve always had. Thank you for respecting our privacy,” the statement continued.
