‘DJ Krowbar Is Safe!’ – Wife Confirms Amidst Fears Of Abduction
Wanjiru Karumba, the wife of famed gospel DJ Krowbar, expressed relief at her husband’s safe return after voicing worries over his disappearance.
Her poignant message arrived late Friday, December 28, 2024, after a period of tremendous concern and public requests for help.
Karumba said on Instagram, “WE FOUND HIM THANKS ‼️‼️‼️‼️,” expressing relief and appreciation to all who helped her during the difficult time.
Earlier in the day, Karumba took to social media to report her husband missing, expressing fears of abduction.

Her fears arose in the midst of a surge of kidnappings targeting perceived opponents of President William Ruto’s administration.
She stated that DJ Krowbar was last seen at 4 p.m. in Ngumo, where he had lunch with a buddy before leaving to pick her up from the hospital.
“Please help us find my lovely husband,” Karumba implored on Instagram.
“He is missing from 4 p.m., last location Ngumo. He had lunch with his friend and then went missing while coming to pick me from the hospital,” the post continued.
“We suspect abduction. Please share widely and pray with us as we look for him, for protection and for him to come back safely.”

The couple’s suffering struck a chord with many, as Karumba has been fighting a personal health battle since being diagnosed with renal failure in April 2022.
