‘Stop Using Youths To Drop Coffins!’ – Morara Says After Paraphanellia Found Outside Utawala Workshop
Morara Kebaso, a political activist and campaigner for government accountability, raised worry after unknown people placed a coffin at his Utawala furniture company.
Morara confirmed on Monday, February 10, 2025, via his official X account that the incident occurred on the night of Saturday, February 8, 2025.
The lawyer-turned-businessman, who has subsequently entered politics, urged the perpetrators of the crime to keep his family out of politics.
He went on to insult the person who created the coffin, claiming that he was more skilled and could make a better coffin than the one that was dropped in his workshop.

“Whoever dropped this coffin at my Utawala workshop on Saturday night, do you know who my father is?” Morara lamented.
“Do you know that my father in heaven created the brain and hands that make coffins? I can make you a better one. Kuja mchana nikutengenezee jeneza safi. Leave my wife and family out of politics.”
Morara’s photo shows a white casket with black graphics that read ‘Rest in Peace’.
Mercy and David’s names were also written on the coffin with black paint.
Morara also revealed CCTV footage showing a young man dropping the coffin at the factory.

“The youth of Kenya have no decent employment. They have opted for bodaboda to earn a living. Now you useless politicians are using them to deliver coffins,” Morara stated.
“Instead of creating opportunities. Allow my home and my place of work to be a place where I find peace. Deliver your promises to the people instead of delivering coffins to my home in Ruiru and my office in Utawala.”
Morara, who has already launched his candidacy for the presidency in 2027, has repeatedly complained about what he calls the state’s unrelenting persecution.
Morara detailed his ordeal in a post on X on January 16, 2025, alleging authorities of persecuting him due to his political and professional activity.
“In the last few weeks I have been hounded and tormented by the state,” Morara began, sharing his frustrations with his followers.
The Inject Party’s head alleged that one of the party’s vehicles was seized without explanation, legal complaint, or due process.
“I have been investigated for doing legal business and earning a living. My freedom of expression is now being pursued at Eldoret Law Courts,” he added.

He referenced the ongoing legal challenges that he says are part of a broader effort to silence him.
Despite these difficulties, Morara pledged to stand firm in his ideals.
“But I continue to stand strong for my values. The values and principles of honesty, integrity, and humility,” he stated.
“Through resilience and consistency, I hope to inspire young people to step up for leadership without fear. Ninaamini Itabadilika (I believe it will change).”
