‘You Are A Great Pillar, Companion!’ – Gachagua Praised In Emotional Birthday Message
Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has written a heartfelt birthday letter to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, praising him as a loving husband, loyal father, and exceptional leader.
The former second lady took to social media on Friday, February 28, 2025, to praise Gachagua as their family’s cornerstone, dearest friend, and comrade.
She also praised his constant support and leadership at home and outside the country.
While expressing her great love and gratitude for him and praising his strength and determination, she gave a heartfelt prayer for Gachagua, asking God for long life, safety, and happiness.
She confirmed their undying support as he turned a year older.
“Happiest Birthday, You are our best friend, a great pillar and companion, a wonderful husband, father and a great leader. We love you always, May Jehovah God give you long life, protection and happiness,” she wrote.

The message demonstrates not only the strong link within the Gachagua family, but also Pastor Dorcas’ esteem and respect for her husband.
This is not the first time the former second lady has openly complimented her husband.
On Sunday, February 23, Dorcas described Gachagua as a brave and sincere leader who speaks with conviction regardless of the circumstances.
She was speaking during a church service at the AIPCA Antubetwe Kiongo Church in Igembe North, Meru County.
