Dozens Of Police Deployed As Ruto’s Stale Nairobi Visit Continues
Police ordered heavy coverage on Friday as President William Ruto began his sixth day of touring Nairobi.
The president is scheduled to visit Eastlands’ Makadara, Buruburu, Umoja, Kayole, and Embakasi.
These are designated as fortified locations, and authorities have ordered full coverage for overall security, according to officials.
This implies that extra police officers will be positioned along the roads he will take throughout his trip, and security will be tight.
This follows a string of events that have hampered the tour over the last four days.
Some motorists and pedestrians were attacked and robbed by criminals who took advantage of the trip.

Teams from the General Service Unit, Recce, and other special squads will be dispatched to provide coverage.
“We have taken the measures for the general safety of all. There will be full coverage in the area,” said an officer aware of the plans.
Ruto visited parts of the Lang’ata and Kibera constituencies on Thursday.
