‘Stop Early Campaigns!’ – Raila Tells Politicians
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has urged politicians to refrain from early campaigns and instead allow the country to develop.
Raila stated that too much politicking is harming the country’s development program, adding that the time for politics would come.
He also chastised those advocating for President William Ruto’s resignation from office, claiming that Kenyans face other difficulties that require immediate attention.
Raila Odinga: Kenyans need to live between now and 2027. The 10-point agenda is not a betrayal to Kenyans. Mnasema Ruto aende, aende alafu nini ifanyike? Shida za wakenya lazima zitatuliwe sasa sio siku ingine pic.twitter.com/mx1QJFKswa

“Unasema Ruto aende, aende halfu nini ifanyike? Hakuna haja, 2027 itafika, lakini wakenya wako na shida mpaka shida zitatuliwe sasa, sio siku engine. Hatuwezi piga siasa miaka mitano mfululizo, nchi haiwezi kuendelea mbele,” Raila said.
“If you put the county in campaign mode no work will go on, we should have time for work and campaigns to follow later.”
He added: “Kenyans need to live between now and 2027, the cost of living is high, prices of commodities are high, taxes are high, corruption is high, that is why we came up with the 10-point agenda and that is not betrayal.”

The veteran military pilot, who was alone in his saloon car, died on the spot from serious burns.
