It’s Unfair!’ – Isaac Mwaura Slams Muturi Over Ruto’s Leadership Remarks
Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has chastised former Public Service CS Justin Muturi for suggesting that President William Ruto is unable to rule the country.
Mwaura, speaking on Nation FM, said Muturi’s words were harsh because he was ousted from the Cabinet.
He went on to remark that Ruto is a president who is committed to resolving the country’s numerous difficulties and is methodical in his approach.
According to the government spokesperson, while some of these measures are unpleasant, they will ultimately benefit Kenya.
“For the former Cabinet Secretary to say that I think it’s unfair, he is only saying this after he is no longer in government,” Mwaura said.
“I have seen a president who is very keen on fixing the nation, deliberate on having serious decisions to be made around the economy that may be very unpopular, which are going to serve the nation right in the long run.”

He stated that, while Muturi’s statement was his view, Kenya could not have a greater President than William Ruto.
Given the state of the country when he took office, he believes his ability to balance politics and government is unparalleled.

“There could never have been a better person who is able to juggle between politics and governance and leadership at this time other than President William Ruto.”
Mwaura explained that Ruto is also on track to fulfill the pledges he made to Kenyans throughout his campaigns.
“I have worked with President William Ruto since 2006 when he was Minister for Agriculture and if there is a robust process that was ever engaged in making a manifesto which I was part of, he was at the front and centre of it,” Mwaura stated.
“Very deliberate actions, thinking went into it. We are implementing exactly what we promised with a limited resource.”
