DETAILS: KUCCPS Reopens Portal For Course Revision
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its site for course revision for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) cohort.
The placement agency said on Saturday, May 17, that the online application system was open for adjustment of student placement selections to universities and colleges for the 2025/2026 cycle.
Applicants who did not obtain a course by the application deadline of April 30 will have another opportunity to select any of the offered courses during the online revision.
“KUCCPS online application system is open for revision of choices for placement of students to universities and colleges for the 2025/2026 placement cycle,” the placement service stated.

“Applicants who did not secure a course in the application that ended on April 30, 2025, are invited to log in again and choose remaining courses as listed on the portal,” it added.
According to KUCCPS, the revision exercise will take place from May 18 to May 27, 2025, with candidates who did not get their selected course encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity.
While making the news, KUCCPS stressed that 2024 form four graduates who did not apply for any courses before the first application window closed were free to select their preferred programs.
How To Revise The Application
Candidates wishing to revise or apply for the available courses must first log in to the portal www.kuccps.ac.ke.
When an applicant logs into the portal, they will be required to input their KCSE index number, KCSE year, and password.

Applicants are recommended to use their KCPE index number or birth certificate number as a password.
After completing the information, the candidate will be able to review their courses.
To revise a course, scroll through the programmes available and either add or revise the courses selected in the bracket.
Meanwhile, the latest announcement comes a fortnight after KUCCPS officially closed its application portal for those seeking university and college slots.
