Kenyan Found Dead In An Apartment In The US Days After Death
Evans Kibiwott Kangogo, a Kenyan, was discovered dead in his Seattle apartment in Washington, United States, three days after passing away.
Kangogo’s body was discovered after his colleagues became concerned when he unexpectedly missed work for three days in a row.
On June 27, his lifeless body was found in his Northgate condominium in Seattle.
A subsequent autopsy revealed that Kangogo died three days earlier, on June 24.
Gotabgaa International, an organization dedicated to connecting Kenyans in the United States, broke the devastating news.
“Evans was found on 27th June 2025 deceased in his apartment, Northgate-Seattle (Washington), after failing to report to work for three days. The Coroner’s report indicated that he died on June 24, 2025,” the statement read.

As of the publication of this article, no cause or method of death had been revealed to the public.
Kangogo was from the Kipkalwa Village of Kapkoi-Chebior Sub Location in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
According to Gotabgaa International, he graduated from St. Patrick’s School Iten in 2012 and Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology in 2016.
The Gotabgaa International community and his family are now seeking financial assistance to transport his remains back to Kenya for funeral rites.
His death came just days after another Kenyan man, Eliud Kipsang, died in Alabama, United States, allegedly due to a heart attack.

Kipsang, a talented middle-distance runner, was reportedly transported to the hospital following the attack, but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
He was born in Kapsang, Uasin Gishu County, and showed potential as a great athlete from a young age.
In 2019, he competed at the Africa Championship before moving to the United States to attend college.
Between 2020 to 2023, he established himself on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) circuit at the University of Alabama.
