Siaya Man Kills 6-Year-Old Nephew For Making Noise
A 31-year-old man has been held at Aram Police Station after being accused of slashing his 6-year-old nephew to death in Ojelo village, Rarieda sub-county.
Denis Ouma Nyahinda is claimed to have chopped Tyron Onyango’s head and neck with a panga, killing him instantaneously.
According to West Asembo location Wycliffe Odiango, the deceased, who had visited his grandmother during the holiday season, was playing with other children when the suspect told them to stop making noise.
He stated that the children proceeded to play following Ouma’s order.
The defendant then came out of his house with a panga, chased the little boy up to his grandmother’s house, and cut him in the head and neck, murdering him on the spot.

Odiango stated that security personnel were notified before visiting the spot and transporting the boy’s body to the Bondo sub-county hospital morgue for postmortem assessment.
While confirming the occurrence, Chief Odiango stated that the culprit was detained and taken to the Aram police station, where he is still being kept while the investigation continues.
He also recommended that the public find ways to control their anger in order to avert such avoidable deaths.
