Moses Kuria Storms Mbeere North Campaigns In Gachagua’s Style
Moses Kuria, former Cabinet Secretary and head of the Chama Cha Kazi Party, appears to have borrowed Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s door-to-door campaign strategy in Mbeere North.
Kuria implemented this formula on November 22, 2025, during a visit to Ishiara’s citizens.

The CCK Party head, dressed in party colors, had a cup of tea with neighbors at a neighborhood restaurant.
Moses Kuria was in the area to campaign for Ireri Mbui, the Chama Cha Kazi Party’s candidate for the Mbeere North parliamentary seat.
Other leaders are using Kuria’s campaign script to promote their candidates in Mbeere North.

Rigathi Gachagua, the leader of the DCP Party, utilized a similar campaign approach to rally support for Newton Karish, the United Opposition candidate.

Gachagua has started taking morning walks in Mbeere, visiting and interacting with residents door-to-door. In addition, he shares tea with residents as part of his campaign plan.
This technique has also been used by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, who, together with other UDA leaders, visits Mbeere North locals and even shares tea with them.
Kindiki is employing this political strategy to support the UDA Mbeere North candidate, Leo wa Muthende.
The three groups are aggressively campaigning in Mbeere North ahead of the by-elections on November 27, 2025.
