Senator Obtains Protective Orders Against Estranged Ex-Lover
Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian has received permanent protection orders against her former fiancé, marking a significant judicial victory after months of emotional hardship following the breakup of their engagement.
Magistrate Festus Terer gave the verdict at the Milimani Law Courts, bringing an end to a dispute that emerged as a result of Senator Hezena and Musa Hussein Lenyumpa’s broken engagement.
The senator officially recognized the romance before ending it earlier this year.
She later returned a Ksh.100,000 traditional wooing token, thinking the problem would be resolved peacefully.

According to sources acquainted with the situation, the tension took a personal toll on the young senator, who has had to reconcile her official responsibilities with the emotional weight of the conflict.
In its conclusion, the court issued permanent injunction preventing Lenyumpa from threatening, harassing or interfering with the senator in any way.
He is also forbidden from visiting her home or office and making false or defamatory statements about her, either directly or through third parties, including on social media.
