In order to assist with the 30-day Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration campaign at the ward level, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has posted temporary employment openings for eligible Kenyans.
Applicants interested in working as Voter Registration Assistants, Voter Registration Clerks, and ICT Clerks during the registration campaign are eligible to apply for the 12,520 posts, which are intended to increase the voter database in advance of future election procedures.
The commission announced on Wednesday, February 25, that individuals who are selected will be paid approximately Ksh2,000 each day for the duration of the assignment.
The commission is looking for Kenyan residents aged 19 and up who have at least a KCSE grade of C- (minus) or its equivalent and will be asked to apply for jobs through the IEBC portal.

Computer literacy and basic ICT knowledge are also necessary, and a diploma in ICT, statistics, education, business administration, or a similar discipline may be considered an asset for some of the roles.
Applicants for the ICT Clerk roles will be required to operate and troubleshoot biometric registration equipment, such as KIEMS kits and related hardware and software systems.
Those seeking the Voter Registration Assistant position will be in charge of supervising clerks at the ward level and organizing the transportation of registration equipment.
They will also coordinate the compilation of registration statistics, oversee day-to-day progress, and ensure each ward meets its voter registration targets within the designated exercise period.
The Voter Registration Clerks will mainly handle direct interaction with members of the public seeking to register as voters.
