KMTC Issues Fresh Directive To March 2026 Admission Applicants
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has warned the public against fake admission letters for the March 2026 Pre-service Intake circulating on various communication platforms.
In a statement on Monday, March 9, the college said it does not issue admission letters through WhatsApp or Gmail and warned that fraudsters are circulating such claims to solicit money from unsuspecting Kenyans.
The college clarified that it has yet to close down applications for the intake.
The official application deadline for this intake is on Friday, March 13, and applicants should visit the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) student portal to apply.
“The image circulating on social media regarding KMTC admissions is fraudulent. Scammers are using fake WhatsApp numbers to solicit money for admission letters,” KMTC warned.
Students who encounter any challenge navigating the system have been encouraged to visit any KMTC campus across the country for assistance.
The Campus has further noted that fees payable to KMTC can only be paid through the e-Citizen platform, since cash is not accepted.
Students and parents should make the payments through e-Citizen’s Jiunge platform, app, or website, where they are required to register first.

On the platform, they should search for “KMTC” and enter their Student Registration Number, then select the fee option where they will be required to insert the fee type and amount.
They will then be prompted, and after making the payments, they can download their receipts from the portal as evidence of payment.
Official KMTC Communication
Notably, all communications connected to KMTC are typically communicated through the institution’s official pages, including their X account which has over 37,000 followers.
Besides school fees, the KMTC also never asks for any other form of payments, particularly through personal phone numbers or unofficial platforms.
