Police Officer Shoots Wife, Man Dead Over Suspected Love Triangle

A night of frivolous delight and merrymaking took an unexpected turn when an intoxicated police officer opened fire in a nightclub, killing his sweetheart and another guy.

The incident, which occurred amid a night of festivities on Thursday, June 26, is alleged to have turned fatal.

This occurred after the cop realized that his lover was involved in another relationship with another man, resulting in a potential love triangle.

The cop, armed with an AK-47 weapon, opened fire in the pub while drunk, leading revellers to contact police authorities.

After recognizing what he had done, the officer attempted to flee on a motorcycle, but the Turbo Sub County Police Commander and Directorate of Criminal Investigations investigators arrived on time and arrested him.

After capturing him, the authorities disarmed him and retrieved the gun, which contained twenty rounds of ammo.

According to a police complaint, the tavern was allegedly owned by the officer’s lover, who was living with another guy.

Furthermore, the investigation stated that the officer was assigned the firearm for night duty but later rode a motorcycle to the tavern where the incident occurred.

Meanwhile, police confirmed that the bodies of the deceased had been sent to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations.

The accused cop is presently in police custody as officers investigate the facts behind the shooting at the entertainment establishment.
