“Most people are travelling home for Christmas and New Year holidays. I am beseeching drivers whether of private or public vehicles to be vigilant and responsible on the road,” DP noted.
“You are carrying precious lives who are important to our country. Human lives are precious and irreplaceable.”
Prof. Kindiki added that the new data from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) are disheartening, as dozens of lives have already been lost in tragic crashes reported around the country.
“NTSA has released figures of those we have lost in road accidents recently. On Tuesday alone, we lost at least 25 people,” he cautioned.
