Guest-List of Presidents Set To Attend The AfDB Nairobi Summit
This week, Kenya will host another key summit bringing together various heads of state from across the continent.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) annual general meetings, held at the KICC from May 27 to 31, will also bring together African central bank governors, policymakers, and other delegates.
The topic for this year is: “Africa’s Transformation: the African Development Bank, and the Reform of the Global Financial Architecture“.
The theme is set against the backdrop of the realization that, despite sustained economic growth over the last two decades, Africa’s economic transformation is still a work in progress with much more to be done.
President William Ruto will participate in a high-level presidential dialogue with other heads of state on Wednesday to discuss Africa’s slow pace of transformation and identify key challenges and opportunities.

9. Denis Sassou Nguesso – Congo
10. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo-Ghana
11. Abiy Ahmed Ali – Prime Minister of Ethiopia
12. Felix Tshisekedi – DR Congo
13. Samia Suluhu Hassan – Tanzania
