British Golfer Found Dead At His Home In Mombasa, Police Confirm It Was Murder

British golfer John Middleton was found brutally murdered at his Utange home in Mombasa.

Jamleck Mbuba, Kisauni Deputy County Commissioner (DCC), confirmed to the press that the deceased’s body was found in a bathtub on Saturday morning.

According to the police, his body was discovered by a cleaner who went there in the morning to do her usual cleaning and took the initiative to alert authorities.

When the cleaner discovered the body, he contacted the deceased’s girlfriend, who lives in Mtwapa. She rushed to the scene and promptly reported the incident to the police.

According to the DCC, police discovered a machete believed to have been used to kill him next to the lifeless body of the British national.

At the time of the incident, John Middleton was reportedly living alone.

“The body had serious cut wounds on the hands. There were little signs of struggle at the murder scene,” DCC Mbumba explained.

So far, no one has been arrested, but police are looking for the perpetrators of the gruesome murder of the 75-year-old man.

“RIP Mr John Middleton, golfers will really miss you,” posted Jacob.

Elkana added that the old man was a very social man who gave useful advice. “He was a very nice guy. Outing, very social,” he stated
