Multiple-Trailer Accident Leaves Several Injured From Involved Passenger Bus
On Thursday, October 31, a passenger bus and a trailer collided, leaving several people with serious injuries.
The Royal Liner passenger bus collided with the guard rails on the Bungoma-Malaba Road.
Images and videos, the extent of the bus’s damage, was revealed by social media, with a large portion of its back mangled up in a wreck.

A trailer behind the bus at the accident scene was also severely damaged on the front side, possibly indicating that it collided with the passenger bus.
In a statement, Royal Liner Express confirmed that at least two people were injured from the accident and were rushed to a nearby health facility.
“We regret to confirm that one of our buses destined for Malaba from Mombasa was this morning involved in an accident less than 5kms from Malaba town,” the company said.
The statement went on: “Two passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearby medical facility. Investigations are currently ongoing and a comprehensive report will be issued by the relevant authorities.”

According to the bus company, the trailer rammed into the back of the bus after the brakes failed.

The accident occurred just 24 hours after another fatal crash hundreds of miles away involving a truck and a personal vehicle.
Several people were killed in the Ndarugo Area of Thika, Kiambu County when a truck collided with a private Nissan vehicle.
The overturned truck caused a major traffic snarl on the busy highway, with witnesses at the scene revealing that the truck pressed down on the personal car, crushing it into a wreckage.
