Governor Natembeya Calls Kenya’s Intelligence Body ‘Lazy’, questions Kware Dumpsite Investigation
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has questioned police investigations into the ‘Mukuru Quarry’ murders.
The former Rift Valley Regional Commissioner asked three pertinent questions about the police investigations and suspected serial killer Collins Jumaisi.
The governor stated that the police investigations were not thorough. He speculated that the suspect was arrested quickly to relieve police pressure.

How could the man transport the body by himself?
DCI Report: According to the police, the man admitted to killing 42 women.
Jumaisi is the only suspect who has been arrested for the murders due to his previous confession.
The DCI has apprehended two more suspects, but no evidence links them to the crimes.
Natembeya’s Take: The governor believes that the serial killer could not have acted alone.
The former senior government administrator stated that the suspect could not have curried the bodies alone.
As a result, he questioned who the other suspects were and why they hadn’t been arrested.
“Bodies are being retrieved from a quarry and we are being told that it is only one person, a young man, did that. It is said that the man cut someone weighing 100 kilogrammes, put them in a sack and carried the body alone and no one saw them. Really?” the governor wondered.
How did they not hear the victims’ screams?
The DCI reported that the serial killer confessed to the murders.
During a second search of the suspect’s home, police discovered a blood-stained hammer, pliers, knife, and scissors.
A preliminary postmortem revealed that the victims died from excessive bleeding.
Natembeya’s Take: The governor questioned why no one heard screams when the suspect was committing the murders, claiming that the DCI investigations may have been rushed.
“That woman who was being killed, didn’t she scream? Who is this man covering up for? That is laziness. If that man says that he did those things by himself, does that case end there?” Natembeya posed.
