DICTATORSHIP! Kenya’s Senate Speaker Claims Ruto To Be The Lone Presidential Candidate In 2027
Speaker of the Senate Amason Kingi has stated that President William Ruto will be the sole presidential contender in the upcoming general election.
The Speaker chastised leaders who join parties only to lose elective seats, claiming that their failure is due to Kenyans’ dissatisfaction with their parties and leaders.
“We know the people who will be in the 2027 presidential election race are only three; the first person is President William Ruto, the second one is President William Ruto, and the third one is President William Ruto. With no doubt, who will be the president?” Kingi said on Friday during Ruto’s development tour in the coastal region.
The Speaker of the Senate chastised the minority for indulging in politics rather than focusing on their oversight responsibilities.
“Some leaders do not have anything to show Kenyans what they did when they were in power, but today they want to vie for the presidential seat,” he added.

On Friday, Ruto chastised opposition leaders, claiming that they have no plan for the country.
He stated that the opposition should find something to offer Kenyans as an alternative to making him their agenda.
The President expressed surprise that they could only talk about him rather than the topic they had convened to discuss.
He went on to say that they have to provide an alternative plan to what the Kenya Kwanza administration is offering Kenyans.

“Their agenda is William Ruto, and I did not send them. They should find a party and give it a name, not William Ruto,” Ruto said.
“They should have an agenda, a plan, and a vision for Kenya; otherwise, they will fail. We are building roads, what is your plan?” Ruto posed.
“We have affordable housing, we have universal health coverage, and we have jobs for the youth, what is your plan?”
His comments come a day after opposition leaders revealed a unity bid on Thursday, when Martha Karua presented her new political entity, the People’s Liberation Party, with bigwigs pledging a political tsunami.
