FAKE! Drama, Chaos As Detectives Round Up Graduates From Flagged University

The graduation ceremony at Northwestern Christian University in Mombasa County was abruptly halted when investigation authorities invaded the premises.

The investigators shut it down due to allegations of operating without a license and issuing forged degrees.

In a stunning change of events, over 100 prospective graduates were apprehended and escorted to Nyali Police Station to give testimony.

The occasion, which was supposed to be a joyous celebration, quickly devolved into chaos and shock when police officers attacked the graduation location, surrounding it with terrifying precision.

“I want to declare this a crime scene, and anybody in a gown should remain seated until we finish all our processes,” said the officers.

Panic spread among the throng. Graduates who had just moments ago been filled with pride and excitement were suddenly paralyzed with fear.

Their families watched in surprise, as jubilation turned to sorrow. As the spectacle developed, some turned to prayer, hoping for a better outcome.

Authorities claim they had enough evidence to infer that the ceremony was tainted and that these documents were nothing more than scraps of paper from an unregistered organization.

The graduates were collected one by one, led to waiting for police vehicles and transported to Nyali Police Station for questioning by DCI officers.

“They did not have certificates, and that is why we had to stop this because there are many institutions, and Kenyans are unaware,” Commission for University Education (CUE) chairman Chacha Nyaigotti said.

According to the Commission for University Education, Northwestern Christian University is not registered and does not have the ability to grant certificates in the country.

This affair occurred only two months after Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi obtained an honorary degree from the same university.

However, no action was taken beyond designating the university unregistered, raising concerns about double standards.

“We want to tell Kenyans to be careful,” Chacha added.

The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Monday. Meanwhile, a bigger crackdown is planned on organizations accused of producing forged certifications.
