The investigation also stated that the guy in question painted the building in all police force colors without the knowledge of any senior officials.
Police officials reportedly discovered the unlawful patrol base on Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m.
The important factors under inquiry include whether the defendant was actively operating the facility and whether the landlord was aware that his building was being used as an unlawful government institution.
According to additional sources, neighbors were tricked into believing they had a police patrol base in the area and were only made aware that it was unlawful when authorities highlighted it on Saturday.
Police patrol stations are generally created in isolated or high-crime locations, serving as strategic outposts for rapid reaction to criminal activity.

However, the process of establishing a police station is time-consuming and involves multiple parties, including the National Police Service (NPS) leadership.
The NPS and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) must approve the idea following a formal request from area authorities, such as MCAs, county governments, or the general public via petition.
The Ministry of Interior then confirms the decision, providing financing and policy direction.
A feasibility study is then conducted, and once final approval is obtained, land for the station is identified. Construction then begins to build important buildings such as an armory, cells, and offices.
