KISUMU: Teen Girl Stabs Uncle To Death, Flees Scene As Police Launch Search
Police in Kadibo Sub-County are looking for a 19-year-old female student who allegedly stabbed her 41-year-old uncle to death in the Ong’eche neighborhood of Katho Sub-Location.
The incident, which has stunned the local community, is said to have been precipitated by the uncle’s constant disruptive behavior, particularly when he arrived home inebriated.
According to Katho Location Chief Hesbon Nyabanda, the deceased had a history of generating problems for his stepmother, who is also the suspect’s grandmother.
The young woman is a Form Four student at a local day secondary school who lives with her elderly grandma.
Chief Nyabanda revealed that the unfortunate episode occurred last night when the uncle arrived home intoxicated and began tormenting the elderly woman.
This apparently infuriated the granddaughter, sparking a heated argument between her and the uncle.

The scenario worsened when the uncle allegedly attempted to forcefully remove maize flour from the grandmother’s home.
In a fit of rage, the student allegedly took a knife and stabbed her uncle in the chest. The guy bled excessively and died from his injuries on the scene.
The young woman fled the area soon after the event and is still at large as police continue to seek.
The deceased’s body has been sent to the Ahero Sub-County Hospital mortuary for further assessment.
