Gov’t Officials, Police Boycott Ndindi Nyoro Event On Orders From Above
Senior government officials reportedly turned down an event hosted by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro to open a modern Assistant County Commissioner’s office in Mjini, Kiharu Constituency, on orders from above.
A source familiar with the event, which took place on Wednesday, March 19, verified that senior government officials, including the County Commissioner, Assistant County Commissioners, and Chiefs, were noticeably absent.
According to accounts, local administration and police officers were asked not to attend the gathering.
This left the MP, who had previously chaired the National Assembly’s Budget and Appropriations Committee, deserted.
Nyoro downplayed the absence and proceeded with the function as scheduled.

The Township ACC Office has the Chief’s Office, Assistant Chief’s Office, Civil Registration, and Land Board, among others.
The office also offers a hall that will be erected and equipped with computers for community use.
The absence of key government officials, including the County Commissioner, Assistant County Commissioners, and chiefs, highlighted the political situation surrounding the member of parliament.
The boycott is thought to have been caused by political tensions or higher-level directions, however, no formal reason has been provided.
Nyoro remained unshaken by the boycott, emphasizing the necessity of the new office in boosting service delivery to Kiharu residents.

“I do not know why I was replaced, I am saying it in good faith, I came to set the record straight. No one in the leadership of our coalition has ever called me in regards to the position,” Nyoro revealed.
During the press conference, the MP revealed substantial revelations, including discussing his removal. The MP clarified that he does not understand why he was removed from the Committee function.
Nyoro claimed that after being absent from his employment for more than a week, he had yet to receive any formal word regarding his dismissal.
