
SOLD OUT! Nyayo Stadium Full As Harambee Stars Hosts Gabon On Sunday
The Harambee Stars have sold out the 30,000-seat Nyayo National Stadium for Sunday’s World Cup qualifier.
The Kenya-Gabon game will be the Harambee Stars’ first home game in nearly 18 months, as well as their first under South African tactician Benni McCarthy.
Tikiti reports that all normal, very important person (VIP), and very very important person (VVIP) tickets, as well as parking spaces, have already sold out.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has also verified that tickets have sold out.
Tickets were priced at Ksh300 for ordinary, Ksh1,000 for VIP, Ksh10,000 for VVIP, and Ksh300 for car parking.
The encounter follows a dramatic 3-3 draw against Gambia in Ivory Coast on Thursday night.
“Kenya’s Harambee Stars are back on home soil after two years! Join us at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday, March 23, from 4 PM for this World Cup qualifier,” Tikiti’s statement reads.
Fans were asked to get their tickets before Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m., as no physical tickets were available for sale.
There will be no physical tickets available, so fans are recommended to purchase theirs online ahead of time to minimize last-minute trouble.
The promoters had stated that only digital tickets would be accepted to ensure a seamless and secure entry process.

This comes months after South African football great and Manchester United coach Benni McCarthy was announced as Harambe Stars coach on March 3 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
Harambee Stars is currently ranked fourth in Group F, behind Ivory Coast, Gabon, Burundi, Gambia, and the Seychelles.
Kenya has six points, one behind third-place Burundi, while Ivory Coast and Gabon lead the group with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

There are five games remaining. Only group winners will advance directly to the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Four second-best teams advance to the knockout stage.
