EX-CS Muturi Responds To Reports Of Future Exposé On Ruto’s Administration

Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has denied conspiring to issue an expose on President William Ruto’s administration.

Muturi, on Friday, March 28, reported a viral social media post claiming that he was about to expose critical information against the current administration.

The flagged tweet indicated that the former Attorney General was planning a counterattack against the current administration.

It implies that Muturi will expose wicked activities purportedly committed by the head of state since his election to power.

“I am now a free man, I will table the evil deals Ruto has been doing in this government. This is the fall of Ruto’s government that has killed Kenyans and abducted Kenyans,” read part of the fake post.

Muturi disputed the charges, describing them as a complete fabrication by hostile actors who attempted to distort facts.

He went on to urge Kenyans to trust solely official communications from his verified social media accounts for accurate information.

“A false quote is being circulated in my name; this is pure fabrication by malicious actors attempting to distort facts,” the former CS commented.

“I urge the public to be vigilant against misinformation and always rely on official communication channels for accurate information. Let us not fall for diversionary tactics; truth always prevails,” he added.

Muturi’s statement comes just two days after Ruto fired him from his cabinet position and appointed Mbeere North Member of Parliament Geoffrey Ruku as his successor.

The former CS recently addressed the press, dismissing reports that he will resign from the administration.

Muturi emphasized that his primary goal was to deliver for Kenyans and ensure government accountability.

Muturi’s resignation came just days after the president chastised him for what he called the former Attorney General’s lack of competency.

“As we move forward, we will continue to look at the issues that have been raised here, issues of education, and find a nexus between religious and formal education to determine what needs to be done,” Ruto said.

“On Waqf, I agree with you; it has taken too long. There is no reason for the delay, and I had a problem with the AG who was there,” he added.

“He was fairly incompetent, but now I have a very competent lady, and I can assure you the issues of Waqf will be sorted out.”
