South African Man Found Dead In His Nairobi’s Parklands Residence

On Wednesday, May 7, morning, a 68-year-old South African man was discovered dead in his bathroom where he had fainted in Parklands, Nairobi.

Police said early findings showed Mark Nalon Minter arrived in the nation on a business trip on May 1 and was scheduled to leave on May 10.

He was with a female friend when the incident occurred.

The woman told police they went to bed after dinner, but when she awoke on Wednesday morning, he was absent.

She later discovered him laying motionless in the toilet, where he had slumped.

An ambulance from St John’s Ambulance was dispatched, and after checking his vitals, they determined he had died.

Various medications used to treat hypertension and diabetes were discovered in the deceased’s bag. Police stated they are looking into the death.

The deceased, who had a prominent injury on the forehead, presumably from a fall, was transported to the City morgue for examination.

The woman was questioned and released awaiting an investigation into the death, according to authorities.

In Kuria, Migori County, a guy was discovered dead following an attack.

Chacha Marwa’s body was discovered lying on the ground near the entrance to his residence following his brother’s attack.

According to police, the man was stabbed, and his body had two deep cut wounds on the right side of the skull, a deep cut on the shoulder, and a stub wound on the abdomen.

The intruder had locked himself in one of the homestead’s rooms before being discovered and apprehended.

The suspect was detained, and a murder weapon was found in the house. The body was brought to Wima Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

The motive for the murder has yet to be revealed. However, police assume that the attack was motivated by a land dispute.
