KUCCPS Extends Course Revision For Universities, Colleges
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened the online application portal for students to revise their choices for placement in universities and colleges for the 2025/2026 placement cycle.
The system has reopened following the closure of the application window on May 27.
According to KUCCPS, the current revision period began on May 31 and will expire on June 7.
“The KUCCPS application system is open for the Second Revision of University, College and Programme choices,” Kuccps said in a statement.

To apply for course revision, candidates must first visit the KUCCPS website at http://students.kuccps.net and then pick the student portal link.

The window is open for Form Four students who received the required mean grade in their individual KCSE examination but did not apply for placement.
According to KUCCPS, candidates can apply to 40 state universities, 29 private universities, and one Open University of Kenya.
Julius Ogamba, the Education Cabinet Secretary, said in February that the portal would be online in March for students seeking university placement for the September 2025 intake.
“In keeping with the annual placement calendar, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will open the placement portal for the September 2025 university intake in June 2025,” Ogamba said.
