Gov’t Announces Jobs For NYS Graduates In Dubai

The National Youth Service (NYS) has offered 60 job possibilities at a corporation in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, aimed at agency graduates.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, June 4, NYS is looking for fabricators with a base wage of Ksh 51,087.

“The National Youth Service Employment Liaison Office is thrilled to inform you about job opportunities in Dubai, UAE, for trained fabricators,” the statement said.

The statement added: “This is your chance to work with top employers, gain international experience, and earn a salary.”

The qualified candidates will be in charge of creating, designing, and implementing fabrication processes and procedures.

They will also work with design engineers to improve designs’ manufacturability.

“Our client, a leading fabrication company based in Dubai dealing with steel, structural, and industrial fabricators, as well as pipe work for ship repair and rigging, has an opportunity for NYS-trained fabricators who are eager to develop their skills overseas,” the notice reads.

The qualified candidate must hold a diploma or trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

However, the applicant must have completed a welding and fabrication, mechanical engineering (production), or metal fabrication-related course.

Candidates must also have good English communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to work well with a varied team.

Furthermore, candidates must be competent to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

A travel passport is essential, and individuals who pass the test but do not have one will have their passports expedited.

The NYS stated that it is devoted to linking NYS graduates with opportunities both locally and internationally.
