“All Ongoing Development Projects Will Be Completed!” – Malava MP-Elect Ndakwa Speaks
Malava MP-elect David Ndakwa has pledged to prioritise and complete ongoing development projects started by the late Malulu Injendi before launching new initiatives.
Speaking after getting his certificate of election, Ndakwa stated that continuity would drive his tenure and that protecting Malulu’s legacy was a top priority.
Ndakwa won the by-election with 21,564 votes, barely defeating DAP-K candidate Seth Panyako, who garnered 20,210 votes.
He emphasized that the constituency’s progress should not stall.

“I will ensure that all ongoing development projects are completed before launching new ones,” Ndakwa said.
He thanked President William Ruto for the opportunity to run on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, emphasizing that the party had placed trust in his leadership.
Ndakwa also thanked his family and supporters for their support throughout the campaign.
He praised the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for ensuring a credible electoral process.
He also praised security forces for preserving order, allowing locals to vote peacefully despite a few minor incidents.
Addressing the electorate, Ndakwa emphasized unity, stating that Malava must remain unified under his leadership.
“Malava is one, and I will work to ensure that no one is left behind,” he said.

He praised UDA contestants, notably Ryan Injendi, the late Malulu’s son, for their support after he conceded during party nominations.
Ndakwa also urged his opponents in the by-election to collaborate for the constituency’s advancement.
“There is only one leader at a time. Today it’s me; tomorrow it could be someone else. Our focus should be the welfare of the people,” he said.
He also appreciated the media for what he described as fair coverage throughout the campaign.
