Interpol Joins Kenya Police In Hunt For Foreigner Involved In Child Molestation

Michael Balentine, the main suspect in the molestation of two children in Malindi, is believed to have fled the country after authorities launched a manhunt for him.

According to the DCI’s Child Protection Unit, the government is already working with Interpol, the international security agency, to find the suspect, who is of South African origin.

Mueni Mutisya, the head of the Child Protection Unit (CPU), has urged the public to remain calm while the investigation is ongoing, promising to locate the suspects.

The case involving the two children is currently before the Malindi Court.

Currently, two female suspects have been apprehended and are in custody for allegedly assisting the main suspect, with one of the suspects being 17 years old.

A court in Malindi heard how the two women lured and escorted the minors into pedophilia and other indecent acts over time.

Before the two women were arrested, angry locals and police staged an ambush in Kilifi’s Baobab Area to rescue two minors who had previously been allegedly sexually abused.

They’re three and six years old, respectively. One parent told journalists that her child returned home with ice cream in her hand.

She sensed something was wrong and questioned the child, who confirmed that she had been sexually abused.

Another distraught parent claimed that the foreigner sexually abused and sodomized her child.

She called on the government to act quickly to bring all those involved to justice.

As a result, the local community urged the government to apprehend the suspect and all of his accomplices before the case went to court.

Witnesses told police and journalists that the 40-year-old foreigner fled on foot into a nearby forest, abandoning his car and belongings.
