Disgraced Former Mudavadi’s Press Secretary Makes Another Public Appeal
Salim Swaleh, the former Director of Press Service at the Office of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, made an appeal to Kenyan companies on Tuesday, November 19, to consider him for a job.
Swaleh, who became popular on August 25th this year when he released an emotional clip of him crying while asking for forgiveness, confessed in a video shared on his X account that he misses certain aspects of his former life.
He mentioned that he misses putting on his suits and reporting for work in the morning.
The former TV journalist also applied for a job while tagging Kenyan mainstream television networks.
“I miss putting on my suits and reporting to work every morning. Give me a job guys,” Swaleh shared.

On June 23, this year, the former Citizen and NTV journalist was detained in connection with a complicated scam at Mudavadi’s office, which started his issues.
According to a news release released by Mudavadi’s Secretary of Strategic Communications, Peter Warutere, the suspects were charged with impersonation, fraud, and abuse of office.
Police arrested Swaleh and several other suspects after receiving a tip from sources inside the Railways office.
“The arrests followed a tipoff that alerted OPCS-MFDA security, who then mounted intense surveillance at the OPCS-MFDA Railways Office to disrupt the reported nefarious acts of impersonation and abuse of the facility by the fraudsters,” a statement from Warutere read in part.
