Wajackoyah Reveals Why He Will Run For President Again 2022 Shocker

On Tuesday, December 3, former presidential candidate George Wajackoyah officially confirmed his candidacy for the top seat in the impending 2027 general election.

During an interview with K24, Wajackoyah explained that his decision was influenced by how President William Ruto treated fellow hopefuls after winning in 2022.

“I came here to officially announce that I am on the ballot in 2027 and I will not be stopped. I am running again because I am bitter,” Wajackoyah declared.

“Ruto could have sat with us at the beginning and asked us if there was any way we could help. He should have asked our colleagues instead of us having to kneel to beg for a job and start singing. I refused and I am refusing today.”

In 2022, Wajackoyah and his companion Justina Wangui received only 4% of the vote despite a diligent campaign that earned him a large following both online and offline.

Most notably, Wajackoya advocated for the legalisation of bhang, believing that this would help reduce the country’s debt crisis.

As he writes his 2027 manifesto, Wajackoya stated that he has began engaging with churches and people on the ground to gain insight into what went wrong in his previous unsuccessful run and how he might better this time around.

“Anglican Bishops are now calling for me while previously they saw me as a crazy person. The media played a big role in pushing the narrative of ‘mtu wa bangi’,” Wajackoya stated.

“People did not understand that I was not talking about smoking bhang but domestic hemp products for cosmetic purposes as well as for medicinal purposes to treat diseases like cancer and Covid.”

He also discussed the commercial benefits of legalising marijuana, comparing it to great economies such as Taiwan and Israel.

He also mentioned African countries such as Uganda and Botswana, which have legalised but regulated the use of bhang due to its great economic benefits.

“Kenya could have done better. Tana River was my project and they could be billionaires overnight because we would have taken 200 acres for production and by now we would have harvested thrice,” he explained.

“A 50 kg bag of hemp at the stock exchange rate is $382 million if you have 100 kg we can easily save our country from poverty.”
