‘No Criminal Elements Will Be Allowed To Overrun The Police!’ – Ruto Declares
President William Ruto has released a strong statement declaring that the government would no longer tolerate threats against police personnel, emphasizing that their safety is a vital national concern.
He emphasized that the state has a responsibility to safeguard those who defend Kenyans.
Speaking on Saturday at State House in Nairobi, while hosting security and National Government Administration Officers from around the country, the President promised them that they would be fully protected while they carried out their duties.
“Every police officer who puts their life on the line to secure our children, our families, and our nation must know, their safety is guaranteed,” Ruto stated.
“As they serve the country, the government of Kenya, under my leadership, will ensure their families and lives are equally safeguarded.”
He decried the more brazen criminal groups that have attacked police personnel in recent days.
He further stated that such activities are unacceptable and that business will no longer be as normal.
