“We wish to inform partner government agencies, importers, exporters, clearing agents, shipping lines, and the general public of scheduled major maintenance for the iCMS,” KRA announced.

The disruption is expected to affect a wide range of iCMS platform users, including importers, exporters, clearing and forwarding companies, shipping lines, and government bodies.
KRA has asked stakeholders to submit all urgent declarations, make payments, and prioritise the clearance of perishable and time-sensitive consignments before the system goes offline on Saturday evening.
Despite the short shutdown, KRA stated that its customer support services will be available during the repair period.
The Authority went on to apologize for any inconvenience that would be caused and asked for cooperation while it worked to improve service delivery and system stability.

Meanwhile, the update adds to the raft of reforms introduced by KRA in recent weeks, which mainly focus on cargo clearance efficiency and changes in tax filing.
