On Wednesday, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi led the burial of her late elder sister Leah Wangari Muriuki at Mirera in Nanyuki.
The DP had previously mourned her sister as their mother and family matriarch, who had taken good care of the larger Gachagua family following the deaths of their father and two mothers.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to Wangari’s husband, children, and grandchildren, saying it had been a difficult week for him.
