Ruto Promises To Complete Important Gov’t Projects In 2025
According to President William Ruto, the government has successfully steadied the country’s economy and will now focus on implementing critical economic projects.
The President remarked that significant development programmes had stalled during the last two years due to economic constraints.
He did, however, promise that this year, Kenyans will see the execution of different programs.
“Now that we have stabilised our economy, we can now engage much more robustly in the development of infrastructure,” he said.
Despite these problems, the government has made tremendous progress in the economy, security, agriculture, healthcare, education, and electrical connectivity, among other areas.

He stated that smart planning and the subsidised fertiliser programs have resulted in improved food output and a lower cost of living.
On security, President Ruto stated that the government’s efforts to combat threats to the country have yielded results and will continue until every part is secure.
The President stated that in addition to dealing with banditry in the Kerio Valley, the government will rebuild the region’s health facilities, schools, and other social amenities.

“In the next three months, all the schools must be reopened and all children must be back to school,” he said.
Governor Rotich stated that the newfound calm and security in the Kerio Valley are releasing the region’s economic potential.
“This region has never contributed to the country’s economy for the past 40 years because of insecurity,” he noted.
West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin urged authorities to promote peace and coexistence among the numerous groups who live in the Kerio Valley in order to secure long-term tranquility.
Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot stated that the country has made considerable progress and that the government will continue to pursue measures that will improve people’s lives.
