ODM Forms Technical Team For UDA MOU Review
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has announced plans to form a technical team to speed up the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding inked with President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, speaking to the press on Tuesday, July 29, afternoon, stated that the lack of such a task force was the missing link in the implementation of the ten-point agenda.
According to ODM, the lack of complete implementation of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, protection of young Kenyans, and respect for the right to peaceful assembly as outlined in the MoU were all major sources of worry.
Speaking alongside other party officials, including party leader Raila Odinga and party chairperson Gladys Wanga, Sifuna stated that the task team would be in charge of ensuring that the aforementioned issues were addressed.

He went on to add, “The committee has identified the absence of such a technical committee, which is contained in the MoU, as the missing link in the implementation of the agenda.”
According to the Nairobi Senator, the team would also be in charge of combating corruption and resource waste within Ruto’s ministry.

They have accused Kenya Kwanza of failing to comply with the MoU inked by Ruto and Raila in March this year.
