KNEC Announces Release of 2024 Examination Certificates
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has announced that certificates for candidates who completed the 2024 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) examinations are now available for collection.
In a message dated Thursday, February 5, the council stated that certificates for the March, July, and November 2024 TVET exams had been processed and were now accessible.
According to the examination council, the accessible certifications are only for individuals who completed business and technical courses within the TVET framework.
KNEC said that the certificates can be obtained from the new Mitihani House in Nairobi by the Heads of Institutions that presented candidates for the examinations.
On the same vein, individual applicants wishing to obtain their certificates were instructed to do so directly from their respective colleges.
“We wish to inform all Heads of Institutions that presented candidates for the 2024 Business and Technical examinations that the certificates are ready for collection at New Mitihani House, Nairobi,” KNEC announced.

According to the notice, any questions about the certificates should be addressed in writing to the Heads of Institutions.
Similarly, issues can be submitted online using the Query Management Information System (QMIS) portal on the KNEC website.

Candidates, teachers, and institutions with issues were asked to respond within 60 days of the certificates’ publication.
The exam body warned in its statement that any queries received after June 30, 2026, would be subject to a Ksh5,000 cost.
“All queries must reach KNEC within 60 days after the release of the certificates. Queries received after June 30, 2026, will attract a fee of Ksh5,000,” KNEC stated.
The release of the certificates comes as a milestone for thousands of TVET graduates, many of whom are seeking employment opportunities and further education.
