How to Apply
Interested teachers are required to submit their applications through the KNEC Examiners’ Portal by logging in with their CP2 accounts or creating new accounts before selecting the available training vacancies.
The council noted that only applicants who meet all the requirements and submit the necessary documents will be shortlisted.
Successful trainees will later be engaged by KNEC to mark KJSEA and KCSE examination papers in line with the council’s examiner recruitment requirements and personnel needs.
The recruitment comes days after the government released Ksh1.5 billion to settle outstanding marking allowances for teachers who marked the 2025 KCSE and KJSEA examinations.

This ends months of uncertainty and eases tensions ahead of preparations for the 2026 national examinations.
